Jen 2015 largerJen Winkler, Professional Inspector

In my experience as a full time professional real estate inspector, I’ve found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means being a good listener as well as a good communicator, responding quickly to your needs, and setting myself apart from other inspectors with excellent customer service and a high level of professionalism. I hold the highest level of licensing that the Texas Real Estate Commission issues: Professional Real Estate Inspector. Clients Deserve the Best.

I’m a native Texan and I’ve been lucky enough to be an Austinite since the ‘80s, so I’ve seen the landscape of the city grow and change. I’ve owned homes all over Austin: South, Central, North, and currently Northwest Hills. When I’m not inspecting real estate, my partner and I are busy exploring local parks with our twin daughters. I also enjoy rowing on Town Lake and hiking lesser-known trails around Austin.

Professional Real Estate Inspector License

The real estate inspection industry in Texas is highly regulated by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). The path to getting the Professional Home Inspector license is arduous, and the standards of practice that govern inspectors are thorough. A small percentage make it to this highest level of licensing. TREC License # 20510.

Termite & Wood Destroying Insect License

In Texas, only a technician or certified applicator licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Control Service can inspect for and report on termites and wood destroying insects. Second Look Property Inspections is qualified to perform WDI/termite inspections. TPCL # 626552.
